A. Mainlandweb is a Web Designing and Hosting company that is located in Toronto, Canada. We design and host all kinds of websites; from simple HTML websites to complex database driven websites.
Mainlandweb, started from a humble beginning, has been moving steadily towards becoming a major player in the IT service industry of Canada and the rest of the world, especially the Caribbean. Initially, most of our clients were located in the Caribbean, or have been part of the Caribbean community here in Toronto, however, over the recent past Mainlandweb has made some remarkable gains in securing jobs from a number of Canadian and US companies.
Our prices are very competitive, our servives are second to none and our servers have proven to be most reliable. Besides web designing and hosting of websites, Mainlandweb also provide streaming server sevices. The development of online web streaming has grown tremendously over the past two years, and Mainlandweb has stepped in to meet those demands. Whether you want to set up an INTERNET RADIO, INTERNET TV or and online SCHOOL for live tutoring, Mainlandweb can offer you the right solution. You can even stream the SHOWCASE of your STORE to potential buyers. This is an area that has not been fully exploited as yet, but we hope to see it grow in the near future

- A. Yes, we allow sites to have commercial advertisements.

- A. Our servers are Linux Red Hat 7.3. and Red Hat 9.0
- Q. Do you allow adult sites?
- A. Yes, we allow adult sites.
- Q. Is tax included with my monthly or yearly plan?
- A. Yes, tax is included within the price.
- Q. What control panel do you use and do you have a demo?
- A. The control panel we use is called Cpanel. A demo of Cpanel can be found here Login with the username demo, and the password demo.
- Q. Can I pay monthly?
- A. Yes, you may pay monthly
- Q. Can I host friends?
- A. Yes, you may host your friends.
- Q. How long does it take to setup my account?
- A. Your account will be setup automatically within 15 minutes of ordering.
- Q. Are there any hidden costs, or setup fees?
- A. No
- Q. Do you offer telnet or shell access?
- A. No due to security reason's we do not offer telnet or shell access.You are still able to unzip files on the server using our file manager as well as the ability to setup cron jobs.
- Q. Can I password protect directories?
- A. Yes you can password protect directory's within CPanel.
